LDPE products, straight from the extrusion line

One factory, four product families. Every item below starts as LDPE granules on our blown-film lines at Kovalam, Tamil Nadu. Pick a family to see specs, sizes and micron ranges. Or skip ahead and send your spec.

LDPE bags
Custom poly bags in 30 to 200 micron. Flat, gusseted, plain or printed up to 4 colours. The family covers six specialised types:
LDPE sheet
Plastic sheet in 100 to 200 micron for concrete curing, vapour barriers and surface protection. Black or natural, cut lengths or rolls.
Sheet specs and weights →
LDPE film & rolls
Shrink film, packaging film and plain film rolls. Sized to your winder: width, core and thickness to spec.
Film specs →
LDPE covers
Machine covers, pallet covers and mulch film. Made to the exact size of what they protect, so nothing flaps or gapes.

Bags, sheet, film or covers: which LDPE product you need

Everything on this page comes off the same blown film line, so the choice is really about the form the material reaches you in. A bag is film converted into a closed unit with seals and a cut mouth: you buy it by the kg and use it by the piece. Sheet is film supplied flat and wide, for covering something. Film is supplied on rolls, for a machine to convert or wrap with. Covers are shaped sheet, sized to a pallet, a machine or a stack.

That decision usually falls out of how the material is filled or applied. If a person picks it up and puts something inside, you want LDPE bags. If a machine forms and fills it, you want LDPE film on rolls. If it goes over or under something, LDPE sheet or LDPE covers. If it goes inside a rigid container, liner bags.

Within bags, the sub-types differ by requirement rather than construction: food-grade bags are about resin and documentation, courier bags about tamper seals and print, anti-static bags about surface resistivity, and grow bags about UV stabilisation and gauge.

The three numbers every LDPE order needs

Whatever the product, a quote needs a size, a micron and a quantity. Size in inches, flat or with the gusset stated. Micron for the gauge, which is what determines both strength and cost. Monthly or annual quantity, because setup cost spreads over the run and a printed order behaves differently from a plain one.

Price follows from those three plus the resin grade. LDPE is sold per kg, and your per-piece cost is bag weight times the rate: length in cm × width in cm × micron × 2 × 0.92 ÷ 10,000 grams per bag. This is why a supplier quoting a per-kg rate without stating micron is not really quoting anything. Our price guide takes this apart properly.

If you are unsure of the gauge, describe the contents instead: weight, sharpness, whether it is wet, and whether it sits in the sun. We would rather recommend 60 micron and be right than sell you 100 and be safe. The micron guide, LDPE vs HDPE and quality and specs pages cover the reasoning we use.
